Tyres for OZ Racing Rims

Trying to compile a list of tyre options for the OZ Racing rims which are a popular choice as an after market upgrade for Rover K series engined S2 Elises and OEM on the Elise S2 135R.

The OZ Rim sizes are: -

Oil and filter change

Easy job - should take 20-30 mins.

An oil filter removal tool, 14mm spanner or socket and a new oil drain plug sealing washer will be required for this operation.

==Procedure==
# Warm engine up
# Raise rear of car.<sup>1</sup>
# [[undertray|Remove middle undertray]].
# Remove the oil filler cap from the cylinder head cover.
# Remove sump plug and drain oil into something that will hold 5 litres of fluid.
# Replace sump plug washer and screw in sump plug. Tighten to 25 Nm.
# Remove oil filter.
# Smear some oil on the seal of new filter and screw on.
# Pour 4 litres of whatever oil in the engine.
# Start engine, don't rev and observe oil light going out. Have a nose underneath for a possible leak at the filter. Tighten if necessary.
# Turn engine off.

# Lower car, leave for a short while and check dipstsick.

<sup>1</sup>Access to the underside of the vehicle will be greatly improved if it can be raised on a lift, driven onto ramps, or jacked up and supported on axle stands. I reverse mine onto ramps, but if you've got some blocks of wood that are approx 3 inches + tall then you can squeeze underneath without too much bother.
